Access
Trade Park is positioned on Siphosetho Road in Mount Edgecombe North, with direct access to the R102, M41 and N2. It sits midway between Durban Harbour and King Shaka International Airport, making it ideal for logistics operations that rely on fast, reliable movement of goods. The recent upgrades to the N2 and M41 interchange have made this location even more accessible, connecting it seamlessly to surrounding industrial, retail and residential areas.
Within the greater Umhlanga area, Trade Park is close to medical facilities, schools, residential estates and major shopping centres, making it easy to attract and retain talent.
Security
The park is enclosed by 2.1 metre perimeter fencing and monitored around the clock with CCTV and access control. A dedicated gatehouse manages entry, and street lighting throughout the park adds an extra layer of safety and visibility.
Sustainability
Each unit is designed with long-term efficiency in mind. Energy-saving lighting and air-conditioning are standard, and the structure is ready for solar panel installation. Water harvesting systems and backup tanks help maintain operations during supply interruptions, while ASIB-compliant sprinkler systems with backup pumps are already in place. In-rack sprinklers can be added if required.
Connectivity
Optical fibre has been added to support high-speed communication and data-heavy logistics operations. The park’s location places it within reach of key transport routes, retail centres, medical facilities and residential estates. This makes it easy to stay connected to suppliers, customers and staff, with minimal downtime or delay.
On Offer
Current vacancies range from 850m² to 1,450m², with gross rentals starting at R110/m². Lease terms are flexible, with options from five to ten years. Each unit can be adapted to meet specific operational needs, whether you’re scaling up or consolidating.
