As the first JSE-listed REIT to achieve a Level One B-BBEE Contributor certification according to Property Sector Codes, Growthpoint Properties is committed to the principles of social and economic transformation and empowerment on all levels. In fact, we are driven by the belief that small business can make a big impact – and we are committed to providing the tools, skills and support to make it happen. Acting as a bridge between SMEs and procurement, the program unlocks real supply chain opportunities, ensuring sustainable transformation and job creation. Property Point takes a two-pronged approach to development. It runs:
- A two-year incubation program for select SMEs
- A general information program that is open to all interested entrepreneurs called To The Point sessions

We intentionally work with historically disadvantaged and marginalised communities, creating opportunities for them to thrive. Our social investment activities focus on supporting them, sustainably, through the three pillars of investment; education, skills development and enterprise & supplier development.
We deliver value to local communities through strategic, high impact partnerships with the potential to optimise our carefully focused investments. Our funding is focused on the educational value chain, providing improved education quality output for our beneficiaries.
